Virginia Hunters
Per Virginia Code 4VAC15-20-240 it shall be unlawful for any person to hunt or assist another to hunt on the same calendar day on a property after having used a drone or unmanned aircraft to locate or surveil any wild animal during any open season.
This means if I launch the drone all hunting has to cease until the next calendar day. If I find your deer wounded and has not expired, I will return within 24 hrs to check the status of the deer for a fee. Hunting would also have to cease for the day of the return trip also.
