About Sky Sniff
Hi, I’m Matt, the owner of Sky Sniff Animal Recovery. I was born and raised in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley and a graduate of James Wood High School. I am a Veteran of the US Coast Guard.
At Sky Sniff Animal Recovery, I use an advanced thermal imaging drone with a zoom camera, and a searchlight mounted to the drone to help locate lost pets, deer, and livestock. My background in drone technology and animal behavior allows me to provide reliable recovery services.

Equipment
At Sky Sniff we use the DJI Matrice 30T Thermal Drone for our searches. It is equipped with a thermal camera, a wide angle, and a 200x zoom camera. The drone can also carry a searchlight for night searches. This is what allows me to be able to identify your pet or wounded deer at night. You can view the search on a 16″ screen if you wish. I also have a generator for being able to conduct long missions. Radios, flashlights, slip leashes, and a few treats are also with me.
